The Salem Lady Wildcats improved to 5-1 on the season with a home win over West Frankfort 46-24. Marah Johnson led the balanced attack with 14 and Kayla Felgenhaur added 10. Salem also won the JV game to even their record at 1-1 with a 44-21 win. Brylee Pennypacker led Salem with 13 and Kylee Garrison added 12.
The SC Lady Cougars fell to St Elmo/Brownstown 67-43. Taegan Webster led the Lady Cougars with 22 in the loss. Lauren Johnson finished with 7. Dayana Haslett scored 20 in the win and Presley Williams 19.
