Lady Bobcats Move To 4-0, New Horizon Keeps Rolling, Iuka Get’s 30 From Sellers In Win

The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats are 4-0 on the season with last night’s home win over visiting South Central 27-14.  Salem dropped the JV game 20-18.  The Lady Bobcats are right back in action tonight when they travel to Albion.

Selmaville fell to Iuka 48-34.  Katee Sellers had a huge game as she led the Lady Pirates and all scorers with 30.  Kinnley Eagan finished with 14 and Kenley Cripps added 6.  Alana Finney had 10 to lead Selmaville, Kenna Benjamin added 8 and Shelby Johnson 6.  Iuka is in action tonight at Central City.

The New Horizon Lady Crusaders played a pair of games to open the Centralia St Mary’s Tournament.  The opening win was over Odin/Patoka 37-19.  Annalyn Bass had a huge game finishing with 14 points, 16 rebounds and 7 blocked shots.  Addison Wangler added 8.

In the nightcap, New Horizon won a thriller 38-36 over the hosts.  Liv Torrence led the way with 18 points, Bass added 9.  Riley Nuehaus finished with 16 for the Lady Defenders.

Tonight, Odin/Patoka will play at Raccoon.
