The Salem 10u Rushing Lady Cats travel softball team also competed this past weekend with a pair of wins over the Fayette County Freedom. Salem won 12-4 and 11-6.
In the 12-4 win, Abbi Haines drove in four runs on 3 hits. Skylar Gaston, and Kaylee Carroll also had RBI. Also with multi-hit games were Julianna Rushing, Kennedy Thompson, Carroll, Josey Gibson, Gwen Goostree and Shaylee Vest.
In the 11-6 victory, Carroll had 3 hits at the plate. Also with multiple hits in the game were Rushing, Brinn Detmer, Emma Hawley, Gibson and Vest.
