The Salem Wildcats soccer team found themselves down 4-0 early to visiting Mount Vernon, they mounted a furious comeback and cut the deficit to 4-3 in the game’s final minutes, but couldn’t get the equalizer in the loss. Robbie Shober, Eli Baker and Caleb Purintun scored in the loss for the Cats. They return to action tomorrow with a home game against Trenton.
Centralia knocked off Wesclin yesterday 5-1.
