Two people have been charged in Marion County Court with unlawful possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine.
53-year-old Anjela Briones of South Sycamore in Centralia was arrested during an investigation into a theft case. Centralia Police say Briones had been identified in surveillance video from Arizona Joes as the one allegedly seen taking an unattended phone from a table. While arresting her in the theft case, the meth was allegedly found in her purse. No charges have been filed in connection with the theft allegation.
33-year-old Bobby Gregory of North Lighthouse Lane in Opdyke was arrested by Centralia Police following a traffic stop. He was originally taken into custody for driving on a suspended license. Police say they also found a pair of brass knuckles in the glove box, but no charges have been filed in connection with that arrest.
