The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats and Selmaville Lady Rockets open up the Woodlawn Tournament tonight against each other starting at 6pm. The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
Last night, Selmaville picked up their 8th straight win and improved to 12-2 with their win over Odin. Talya Gowler struck out 5 and allowed just 3 hits in the win. Kaolin Lewis had a double, home run and 2 RBI, Gwen Ryan added a double and drove home a run, Brylee Carter also had an RBI.
Franklin Park dropped a heartbreaker to Wesclin 2-1. Abigail Thompson struck out 8 in the circle. Quinn Wolfe had the only 2 Salem hits and drove in the only run.
In regular season play, Iuka is at Bluford.
