A motorcycle stolen from the parking lot of Bettendorf-Stanford in Salem on August 8th has been recovered hidden in brush.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies were notified that a motorcycle had been located hidden in brush when they were clearing property near the Cross Road and South College Street intersection on Tuesday.
Since the cycle had been taken in Salem, the case was turned over to Salem Police Detectives. They report some parts were removed, but otherwise the cycle was in good condition and has been returned to the owner. Meanwhile, they are following up leads on who may be responsible for the theft.
