A 64-year-old former Centralia man who has lived most recently in Lockport has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court to felony criminal trespass to residence and domestic battery.
Matthew Townsend admitted entering a home on Chipwood Lane off Raccoon Lake in July 2019 with one or more persons present and then grabbing one of the occupants by the arm and neck.
Once he gets out of prison, Townsend will be on parole for six months.
As part of the plea, a third count of violation of bail bond as well as all other charges pending against him were dropped.
