Many government offices will be closed for the Labor Day Holiday, including area courthouses and Salem and Centralia City Halls.
However, in a change from past years, Salem trash collection will be on the regular schedule in the coming week, including the normal Monday pickup on Labor Day.
In Centralia, there will be no trash pickup on Monday, with pickup running a day late the rest of the week.
Financial institutions and schools will be closed and there will be no home mail delivery.
