Odin/Patoka/Sandoval high school baseball is in action today at home against Teutopolis coming off their first win of the season. The Eagles knocked off Dieterich 6-5. Brady Cain got the win in his first high school varsity start with Wade Cain picking up the save.
The SC Cougars are 8-0 after a 23-0 blowout at home over Wayne City. Trevan Sidwell and Max Magnus led SC with 3 RBI, Maddox Robb drove in 2 with RBI also from Hudson Moore, Colton and Callaway Smith, Zane Montes, Evan Hoover, Colby Bursott, Seth Jones and Chase Guerrettaz. Callaway Smith worked 3 innings and combined in the no-hitter with freshman Garret Shumate who threw 1 innings and struck out 3.
Christ Our Rock pounded Neoga on the road 13-5. The Stallions doubled 6 times in the game including 2 each from Jayden Bazile and Christian Nollman. Lendon Isaiah drove in 4 runs, Nollman and Drew Lueking added 2. Bazile was 4-5 with 3 runs and drove in another. Also with RBI were DaMari Dabney, Brayden Albert and Garrett Denton. Albert and Dabney combined for the win on the mound scattering 4 hits and striking out 6.
