The Franklin Park softball varsity dropped a tough game yesterday to Greenville 6-4. Allison Thurman was good in the circle striking out 7. At the plate, Kendall Zimmermann and Quinn Wolfe both had 2 hits with Zimmerman on base 3 times and drove in a run. Wolfe finished with 3 RBI. Emma Lipe was on base twice and Adysen Pracht and Teagan Lobek were on base as well. The JV softball team plays host to Carlyle today.
Selmaville earned a 15-0 win over Raccoon in conference action. Samara Simmons tripled and drove in 2, Keira Meredith doubled home two runs Kaolin Lewis had a hit and 2 RBI. Shelby Johnson and Alli Patrick also had hits and RBI. Meredith was the winning pitcher on 9 days rest she struck out 6 and tossed a no hitter. The Lady Rockets are 7-2 and head to Carlyle today and Wednesday will play at Summersville.
The SC Lady Falcons softball team is in action today at Flora. The Iuka Lady Pirates play host to Field. Sandoval hosts Hoffman Trinity.
