Four arrests were made on Saturday following domestic disturbances.
- Salem Police arrested 24-year-old Alexander Russell of West Elm in Salem for alleged aggravated domestic battery.
- Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 47-year-old Martin Henson of Ross Lane in Centralia for alleged aggravated domestic battery and resisting arrest.
- Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 32-year-old Keila Linder of Choteau Avenue in rural Odin for alleged domestic battery.
- Salem Police arrested 54-year-old Brian Hester of East Rainey in Salem for alleged domestic battery.
All four remained in the Marion County Jail on Sunday.
A 24-year-old Mt. Vernon man was transported to the Marion County Jail from the Jefferson County Jail at Mt. Vernon after being arrested on an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor warrant with bond set at $2,500 and an outstanding Washington County warrant.
Odin Fire, Lifestar Ambulance, and United Medical Response were all called to the scene of a wreck on Odin Road north of the Green Street Road in rural Odin at 8:11 Saturday night. Initial reports indicate a vehicle had gone into the water following heavy rains, but the vehicle was found with no one around on dry ground. Reports have not been completed waiting on information from the driver.
State Police were called to handle an accident involving a semi on I-57 northbound at mile marker 123 four miles south of the Kinmundy exit. Initial information indicates the truck left the roadway and went into the tree line. The driver escaped injury. The crash was reported at 7:35 Saturday morning.
