Salem Police have arrested a 22-year-old Salem man for criminal trespass to the SCHS football field bathroom/concession stand.
Police report the door of the facility was found kicked in Wednesday morning. After the school’s SRO reviewed video surveillance, a man the SRO could identify as William Lewis of East Bryan was seen around the building. When Lewis was located and questioned later in the day on Wednesday, he admitted being in the building but claimed the door had already been broken.
Lewis was released on a notice to appear for criminal trespass.
The investigation into the criminal damage is continuing.
