The National Weather Service says thunderstorms are likely over the region late Sunday afternoon and evening.
Thunderstorms may be severe Sunday afternoon into this evening with the primary threats being damaging wind and large hail. A tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
The long-range forecast shows thunderstorms return to the region Tuesday night through Thursday morning, and again on Friday.
