A 26-year-old Odin man sustained apparent minor injuries in a one vehicle crash in rural Iuka early Sunday morning.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports Ryan Niepoetter of East Chestnut was driving on the Iuka Road north of Apple Road south of Iuka when the crash occurred. Niepoetter was not at the scene by the time Iuka Fire responders arrived on the scene.
He told sheriff’s deputies he was going for treatment at Salem Township Hospital but deputies did not find him until later at his home.
Reports on the crash have not been completed. It was reported at 3:50 Sunday morning.
