Centralia Police made two separate possession of methamphetamine arrests. 35-year-old Megan Schulte of South Locust was taken to the Marion County Jail for possession of meth and a hypodermic needle. 33-year-old Bailey Bryan of 17th Street in Centralia was also taken to the Marion County Jail.
20-year-old Patience Phelps of Hickory Ridge in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer and a single count of resisting arrest.
41-year-old Edwin Steinkamp of Sanders Street in Wamac was arrested by Centralia Police on a Marion County misdemeanor warrant in a pending theft case. He remained in custody in lieu of $2,500 bond.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating criminal damage and theft of parts from a tractor on Friday while it was parked at a residence on Gaston Road in rural Salem. The missing parts are valued at $1,800.
