Salem Police say one person was injured in a two vehicle rear end crash on US 50 east of Hoots Chapel Road Monday afternoon.
Reports indicate a car driven by 31-year-old Matthew Juds of Millington, Tennessee who is formerly from Odin looked down and when he looked back up traffic in front of him had slowed and he hit the rear of a van driven by 52-year-old Angella Vannoy of Belleville.
Vannoy was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of injuries by United Medical Response.
Juds refused medical treatment. He was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The crash occurred at 2:56 Monday afternoon.
