One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on East Noleman Street in Centralia at the entrance to Casey’s General Store.
Centralia Police say a car driven by 19-year-old Savanna Reed of West Frankfort attempted to turn into the Casey’s Store from the right lane in front of another eastbound vehicle in the other lane driven by 38-year-old Deloran Coleman of Edgewood North in Centralia.
Reed was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of a head injury. She was ticketed for making an improper turn.
Coleman escaped injury.
Both Centralia Fire and Lifestar EMS responded to the scene.
The crash occurred at 5:30 Wednesday night.
