Franklin Park Middle School collected 12,986 cans of food in its annual canned food drive.
The total value of the food is estimated at $6,493. It was taken to the Salem Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry for distribution to the less fortunate.
Mrs. Wolfe’s homeroom was the top homeroom bringing in 6,849 cans.
Students have earned several incentives including a bowling trip and the ability to slime the principal among others.
