The Centralia Home and Community Expo returns this weekend after a several-year absence due to COVID-19.

The home show is also at a new larger location at the former Buchheits store location in the Fairview Shopping Center.

Chamber Assistant Executive Director Malaya Downey says the hours are ten to six on Saturday and ten to four on Sunday.

“We have just over 50 vendors coming out.  The main difference this year of course, we’re going to have home-centered exhibitors there, but we’re also going to have vendors there representing just the community.  Some of our Balloon Fest vendors will be coming to this event as well.  I think one of the biggest draws we will have will be SSM Health.  It has been a crowd favorite for years.  They are doing a discount.  If you come to the home show,  you will receive a discount for an executive blood panel voucher that you can take to any of their medical group locations and have your blood drawn for the test.”

The cost of the voucher for the full executive profile is $45.  The vouchers for both the A1C and PSA test are both $10.

The event will also feature drawings and giveaways, food trucks, and demonstrations.   Live entertainment will include Hank Jourdan at 4:30 Saturday and Rick Runyon at 2:30 on Sunday.

There is no cost to get into the home show.
