Centralia Police has arrested a 24-year-old Mt. Vernon man for domestic battery. Melvin Johnson of Locust Street was taken to the Marion County Jail.
Five others were arrested on outstanding warrants.
- 50-year-old Kelly Hixenbaugh of Janet Drive in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on a Marion County felony warrant. Bond is set at $7,500.
- 24-year-old Antwon Boswell of Chicago was arrested by Wamac Police for obstructing justice and on a Cook County warrant. Bond on the warrant is set at $150,000.
- 41-year-old Edwin Steinkamp of Sanders Street in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor warrant on a pending theft case. Bond is set at $5,000.
- 40-year-old Clarence Foster of South Puryn in Salem was arrested by Salem Police on a Marion County felony warrant. Bond is set at $50,000.
- 20-year-old Zykevious Burnett of Hazelcrest, IL was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding warrant to revoke his probation on a felony driving on revoked or suspended license case. Bond is set at $10,000.
