Bond was set at $100,000 in Marion County Court on Wednesday for a 43-year-old Odin man who was formally charged with a Class X felony drug offense along with two other drug possession charges.

Randle Giller of West Kirkwood was charged with the Class X offense of unlawful possession with intent to deliver a substance containing meth.  He was also charged with possession of 15 to 100 grams of meth and possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having several fentenayl pills in his possession.

Centralia Police arrested Giller during a Tuesday night traffic stop in which he was a passenger.  Since he was on parole, he was searched and allegedly found in possession of 18.4 grams of meth, three fentenayl pills along with a spoon with what field tested as meth and a hypodermic needle.

The public defender was appointed to represent him during his first appearance in court.  If released on bond, he was ordered to have no illegal substances.
