A storm system dumped nearly an inch of rain across Marion County on Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. The storm also brought extremely strong winds and a wind advisory.
The Alma Weather Station had a top gust of 56 miles per hour at 4:10 Thursday morning. A fallen tree blocked the Route 161 Extension early Thursday morning until it could be removed.
The Salem Water Plant recorded nine-tenths of an inch of rain.
The Centralia Water Plant recorded 88 hundredths of an inch of rain. One gate of Raccoon Lake had to be opened two inches to get rid of excess water.
The Alma Weather Station had 85 hundredths of an inch.
