A 50-year-old Odin man has been charged in Marion County Court with failure to register as a sex offender.
The charge against Terry Tolbert of Petrea Road is a Class Two felony due to a prior violation of the registration act in Hardin County. As a result, a conviction would require a minimum of seven days served in the Marion County Jail and a minimum fine of $500.
The bond was set at $15,000. A public defender was appointed to represent him. A preliminary hearing is set for January 10th.
Tolbert was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on Friday.
