Police Beat for Friday, November 25th, 2022

Salem Police have arrested a 33-year-old Vandalia man for possession of a stolen vehicle.  Police report Jerrad Simpson of West Fillmore in Vandalia was taken into custody on Thanksgiving Day after being located in an apartment in the 100 block of West Kell Street.   He was located after his mother’s car, which had earlier been reported stolen, was found in the parking lot of the apartment complex.

Centralia Police arrested 29-year-old Kendrick Flowers of Wright Drive in Centralia for aggravated battery to a disabled person and unlawful use of a weapon.  Centralia Police say Flowers was a person of interest in the incident that allegedly occurred earlier.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 19-year-old Noah Meredith of West Bond in Patoka for alleged domestic battery following an incident at an apartment on West Bond.

36-year-old Corey Anderson of Ticklen Road in rural Odin was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for violation of an order of protection after he was allegedly sending text messages to a protected person.

33-year-old Kellie Schoreck of Bryan Street in Alma was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for possession of drug paraphernalia.

42-year-old Lashana Lyons of South Ruth in Irvington was arrested by a Washington County sheriff’s deputy on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant for failure to appear in a residential burglary case. The bond is set at $7,500.

31-year-old Laquisha Lockett of Maulding Drive in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on two Marion County failure to appear traffic warrants.  Bond on both warrants totals $4,000.

33-year-old Demarius Jackson of Maulding Drive was arrested on a failure to appear traffic warrant with bond set at $2,500.
