A 30-year-old homeless Salem man has been charged in Marion County Court with unlawful loitering within a school zone.
Russell Wimberly was arrested by Salem Police on Thursday after he was allegedly found on Salem Community High School property. The offense is related to Wimberly being a registered sex offender.
If convicted, Wimberly faces an enhanced sentence because of a prior Clinton County conviction.
The bond on the charge is set at $10,000. Wimberly waived appointment of a public defender to represent him.
