The Franklin Park Bobcats open up their middle school basketball season with a trip to the Rome Shootout where they will get a very tough Woodlawn squad starting at 5:45.
The day at Rome begins with the Selmaville Lady Rockets taking on Waltonville at 9, the Rockets versus Patoka boys game at 10:15, Summersville will take on Germantown in a girls game at 11:30 and the boys at 12:45. The Rome JV takes on Woodlawn’s JV at 2 with their varsity teams going at 3:15. At 4:30 the Franklin Park JV will play Woodlawn before the varsity teams at 5:45.
Irvington North Wamac moved to 2-0 with a 64-31 win over New Horizon at the Rome Shootout that got started last night. Dameon Wooden led the Indian Eagles with 24, Cooper Teaff added 20.
Raccoon will take their 1-0 record to the Centralia High School Shootout today for a game against Central City.
