Lady Cats Finish Cahokia With Loss At Roxana
The Salem volleyball team closed down the Cahokia season with a 3-set loss at Roxana 25-20, 10-25, 18-25. Salem is 9-16 as they prepare for the Fairfield Tournament this weekend. The freshmen won 21-3, 21-8 to end the season at 11-5. The JV also won in 2 sets 25-23, 27-25 and are 12-8.
3-way Tie For Mississippi Division, Carlyle Wins Illinois Side
Freeburg swept Columbia allowing for a 3-way tie for the Cahokia Conference, Mississippi Division title between Freeburg, Columbia and Breese Central. All three went 8-2.
Carlyle won a 3-set thriller over Okawville to go 9-1 in conference play to win their first-ever Cahokia Conference, Illinois Division title. Their 24 wins this season is tied for 3rd most in school history.
SC Beats CORLHS Getting Ready For Next Week’s Post Season
South Central beat Christ Our Rock 26-24, 25-9 to improve to 26-7 on the season. Olivia Brauer had 15 assists, Brooklyn Garrett 12 kills and 10 digs, Brooke Cowger had 7 kills and 3 digs. The JV won in 3 sets to improve to 9-6 and the Fresh/Soph won in 2 sets to finish 5-4-and-5.
