Wildcats Thurman and Shober Are All Conference At Cahokia XC Championships

Salem was the site for the Cahokia Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday as they ran through Bryan Memorial Park.  In the boys race, Freeburg was conference champions with 31 points followed by Columbia with 62, Roxana, Salem and Breese Central each finished with scores of 84.

Columbia’s Ethan Hodge was the conference champion with teammate Calvin Runge runner up.  Freeburg’s Josh LaChance was 3^rd.  For Salem, Robby Shober was 7^th followed by Branson Pappas 10^th, Hunter Malan 14^th, Ricardo Salgado 26^th and Jacob Ware 27^th.

Roxana was the girls champion with 50 points right ahead of Freeburg with 52, Breese Central 67, Salem 75 and Columbia 100.  Roxana’s Gabrielle Woodruff was the conference champ ahead of teammate Riley Doyle and Columbia’s Madison Missey.

Salem’s Breanna Thruman was all conference in 5^th place with Maci Thorsen 15, Aila Laird 16, Ivy Donoho 19 and Eden Russell 20.
