The Class 1a soccer regional championships will be played for today. At Mater Dei the host Knights take on rival Breese Central. TTown and Newton will play at St Anthony, at Freeburg its Columbia against Waterloo Gibault.
The Class 2a regional quarterfinals start tomorrow. Mt Vernon will take on Olney at Olney Central College starting at 11 a.m.. Anna Jonesboro welcomes Carterville and Litchfield plays the hosts at Highland.
