Salem Soccer started out the weekend with 1st/2nd grade team traveling to Germantown. They pulled out an 8-1 victory. Jonah Findley scored a hat trick. Ethan Petrillo and Gavin Purcell each scored twice. Saide Holzhausen scored one goal. Petrillo, Purcell, Findley, and Libby Gozia did great in net. Hadley Michel had a solid game in the mid field.
The 3/4 Girls traveled to Breese. The close game finished 0-0.
The 5th/6th boys went to New Baden. They came home with a 3-1 win. Liam Shober, Carson Hackney and Jacob McIntosh  all scored once. Shober had two assist and Gabe Thomason had one assist.
The 3/4 Boys hosted Breese at FCC Fields. The dropped their game 0-2. Kaysen Findley and Trevin Lewis played well in net. Grayson Frazier and Micha Rollins played great in the mid field. On Tuesday night, they will travel to New Baden for a night game.
The 7th/8th graders welcomed New Baden. It was a close game that ended in a 2-3 loss. Nicklaus Kahtz scored first for Salem. Sarah Hosie scored second, on a free kick from 25 yards out. Kourtney Garrison played solid on defense and Kiwi Kunstman played well in the midfield.
The 5th/6th grade girls hosted Higland on Saturday. The game ended in a 0-0 draw. Gabby Gaston and Lilly Meyers played well in net. Brynn Kessler and Kara Crain played well on the back line. On Sunday, they traveled to Marion for a friendly. Salem played well and produced many good chances. The game finished in a 1-2 loss. Adysen Pracht scored the lone goal.
