The Salem Lady Wildcats volleyball team fell to 8-12 on the season when they dropped a 2-set match at Centralia 13-25, 16-25. The night began with the freshmen winning 26-24, 25-18 to improve to 8-3. The JV won in 3 sets losing the first one then coming back for the win (23-25, 25-23, 15-8). The Lady Cats return to Cahokia play tomorrow at home against Columbia.
SC improved to 17-5 with their 25-8, 25-13 win over Sandoval. Olivia Brauer and Sidney Shumate had 8 assists each, Brooke Cowger had 7 kills, 5 from Brooklyn Garrett. The JV also won 25-15, 25-13 to improve to 8-4. SC will host Neoga tomorrow.
