Centralia Firemen were called to a furnace fire at the Theresa Chittenden home in the 1400 block of Holly Street Wednesday night.
Flames were reportedly showing in the wiring. The occupants threw water on the fire which had put it out before firemen arrived on the scene.
Firefighters checked the furnace, cleared the smoke, and turned off the natural gas to prevent any further problems.
The call came in at 7:41 Wednesday night.
