Central City won their Class M regional game over Rome in dramatic fashion on an Archie Goewey bases loaded walk to bring in the winning run 6-5. Rome scored three times in the third, but the Citians managed to come back for the win. Goewey was the winning pitcher allowing 4 runs on 3 hits over four innings. He struck out 7 and didn’t walk anyone. Preston Feig and Will Stanton came out of the pen in relief with Feig getting the last five outs. Feig finished 2-3 at the plate. The Citians move on to the title game to face tonight’s winner between Nashville and Carlyle.
