The JV boys competed yesterday in a quad-match with Carterville coming out on top shooting 172, Salem 184, Carbondale 186 and Murphysboro 209. Ian Davis of Carbondale shot 39, Spencer Brown led Carterville and was medalist with a 37. Salem got 44’s from Ryan and Rhett Detering, Aden Bass and Luke Young added 48’s. Jackson Jarrett and Kyler Sapp also competed shooting 61 and 54 respectively.
The Salem Varsity Wildcats will compete at the Cahokia Golf Championships today at Governor’s Run in Carlyle.
The Lady Wildcats are at home at the Salem Country Club against the Centralia Annies.
