Centralia Police arrested a 33-year-old Centralia man for unlawful possession of methamphetamine after originally going to his home to arrest him on a different case.
Zachery Konhorst of D’Ann Drive reportedly had a baggie for what field tested as methamphetamine in his pocket. He had been listed as a person of interest earlier in a case for alleged non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images.
Centralia Police report Konhorst’s ex-girlfriend had filed the complaint when photos began being posted online of her without her consent.
Marion County State’s Attorney Tim Hudspeth says he wanted a further investigation of that case before making a decision on charges.
Konhorst was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond with the understanding he would have no contact with the person involved with the sexual image case. The public defender was appointed to represent Konhorst.
