St. Mary’s Church in Centralia will hold AutumnFest on Saturday.
After a ‘Never Forget’ Memorial 5K run in the morning, evening activities begin at four with the Knights of Columbus Blue Mass. During the Mass, they will honor those men and women who serve as first responders.
Immediately following Mass, to remember those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001, they will gather in the Courtyard for a short memorial service. The Centralia Fire Department, American Legion, and St. Mary’s School children will be on hand to remember those who died. Little Egypt Brass Band will play patriotic music before and after the service.
After the Mass, evening festivities kick into full speed as most stands will open. A food tent will feature delicious BBQ and Smoked entrees and sides to enjoy.
DJ music will fill the air until eight pm when Stir of Echoes takes the stage until 11 pm. They will play a wide variety of music.
There will also be a beer tent and beer poker with a number of great prizes. There will also be a cake walk and basket walk featuring delicious homemade cakes and unique baskets to take home with you.
