Patrick Byars, 52, of Salem, passed away on September 29th, 2026, at Salem Township Hospital. He was born on November 4th, 1973, in Salem to Don and Peggy (Boyles) Byars.
Patrick is survived by his sister, Mary (Chad) Mattingly; nephew, Ross Mattingly; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Patrick was a lifelong Salem resident. He resigned from Salem Tire due to health problems but found a new career making food deliveries. He enjoyed painting, riding his bicycle around town, and taking nature walks. Patrick’s good nature and his unique philosophical musings will be missed.
