The Centralia Marching Showcase Band won multiple trophies during the EIU Panther Marching Band Festival at Charleston on Saturday. They include Best Percussion, Best Visual, Best General Effect, Best Music, 1st place overall in Class 3A Open Division and 3-Peat Small school grant champions in Open Class.
The Salem Community High School Marching Band took Best Color Guard and first place in the SIU-Carbondale Music in Motion competition.
