The Mt Vernon Rams won the South 7 Conference Title shooting 300 at Kokopelli Golf Club in Marion, 15 strokes ahead of 2nd place Highland. The Rams put 4 golfers in the top 5 led by Maxwell Rinehart, Luke Heaney, Gage Raney and Xander Ashby. Carbondale was 3rd with 337 and Marion 4th at 341.
Woodlawn’s golf team is at Nashville against the hosts and Mt Vernon.
Effingham won the Apollo for the first time in several years edging Mahomet Seymour by 3 strokes in the match played at Mt Zion.
