In boys golf, the Salem JV competed against Carlyle and won 184-189. Jaxon Ward was medalist for the 2nd straight competition as he shot 39. Grant Squibb was 4th shooting 45, Carter Summers 5th with a 48. Also for Salem, Dakota Gregg shot 52, Cooper Burkett 56 and Matthew Carter 63.
Woodlawn sophomore Laken Kirkpatrick was medalist yesterday as he shot 39 at Indian Hills, but Waltonville shot 169 to beat Woodalwn 176 and Wayne City 186 at Indian Hills. Waltonville’s Aiden Wilson shot 40, Jayton and Jaxton Dees each shot 41 and Woodlawn’s John Hart closes out the top five shooting a 42.
Breese Central won the Nashville Invitational shooting 153, Okawville shot 164, Greenville 166, Staunton 167 and Sparta 170 completing the top 5. Central’s Brant Horstmann shot 36 and tied Owen Rizzi of Staunton for medalist. Central’s Brenden Huston was 3rd with a 38 along with Jaxon Miles of Sparta and Jack Gerstner of Breese.
