Marion County Animal Control will host Adoption Days in connection with the Southern Illinois Antique Power Days at the Marion County Fairgrounds this Friday and Saturday.
Animal Control Administrator Whitney Purcell says a number of dogs will be at the event to meet potential new owners. You can view dogs available for adoption ahead of the event at petfinder.com. You can also fill out an application ahead of time or on site at Antique Power Days. Animal control has been overwhelmed with the number of dogs brought to the facility for adoption and she is hopeful a large number can be adopted this weekend.
Animal Control will be at the fairgrounds with the dogs from eight to five both Friday and Saturday.
