Centralia Police have arrested a 47-year-old Marcum, Illinois man for aggravated battery to a police officer. He was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges and a first appearance in court. No other details have been released.
State Police arrested 47-year-old Clayton Simmons of South Walnut in Sandoval for alleged driving under the influence. He was later released on a notice to appear in court.
