It’s week 2 in IHSA football and the Salem Wildcats are back on the road for the second straight week when they head to Olney to take on the Tigers. Salem is coming off a 49-20 loss to Centralia while Olney fell on the road at Taylorville 47-7. This will be the first game on the new turf field at Olney. Game time set for 7pm with the pregame at 6:50 on WJBD.
Also tonight, the Centralia Orphans will open up their first ever season in the Cahokia Conference when they travel to another new league school this year, Civic Memorial. Also in the league, Breese Central is at Columbia and Freeburg hosts Waterloo.
