The Odin School Board has approved a three and a half percent pay raise for non-certified personnel.  Superintendent Quinton Marcum says the increase is the same earlier approved for the teacher’s union.

The board acted on a number of personnel issues.  Madison Scarbrough and Pam Barackman have resigned as paraprofessionals.  Mary Roy has moved from paraprofessional to the Pre-K teacher.  Chris Snider was hired as custodian and Amber Fogerson as Student Services Director and Amber Roldan as a paraprofessional.  Billy Spitler was hired as cross country coach.

The board approved its e-learning plan for the coming three years.  It will allow up to five days of e-learning each year if there is a weather or other emergency.

The board approved its budget for the coming fiscal year.  All funds are in the black.  The budget will be on display until the September 14th school board meeting where there will be a public hearing and a request for approval.

Wednesday is the first day of school for Odin, South Central, Patoka, and Sandoval students.
