Salem Police took a total of eight to the Marion County Jail over the weekend, including two during traffic stops for possession of under five grams of meth. They are 44-year-old Christopher Decker of North Broadway in Salem and 57-year-old Christopher Craig of North Shelby in Salem. Decker was also arrested on a Jefferson County warrant and Craig for driving on a suspended license.
Two others were arrested following an altercation at their home on East Senneff. 29-year-old Rachel Howard was arrested for domestic battery and 26-year-old Dustin Crenshaw for criminal damage to property.
Four others were arrested on traffic charges. 62-year-old Mary Besant of North Jackson in Salem was arrested for operating an uninsured vehicle, expired registration. The three others, 19-year-old Jason Poole of Lighthouse Drive in Opdyke, 19-year-old Darious Morlan of East Third in Bonnie and 42-year-old Clinton Nix of South Washington Street in Salem, were all arrested for driving on a suspended license.
All eight were later released on notices to appear in court.
