An eight hour search conducted by multiple agencies for find a missing Woodlawn man with dementia and blind in one eye ended when the man returned to his home on his own.
The search for Darrel Daniels began around 3 Friday afternoon, four hours after he had last been seen. Multiple agencies then searched the area for eight hours before Daniels turned up at his home around eleven Friday night. It is not clear where Daniels was during the 12-hour period.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department received assistance from Woodlawn and Jefferson Fire, drones from Centralia ESDA and Irvington Fire, Franklin County canine search team, and Litton’s Ambulance.
