An abandoned trailer once used to house migrant farm workers at Schwartz Orchard, 1066 Copple Road, southeast of Centralia, was destroyed by fire early Friday night.
The mobile home was fully involved when firefighters arrived. A backhoe was eventually brought in to spread the debris to put out the remaining hot spots.
Centralia Fire Protection District Chief Ross Boshera says no other property was damaged.
The fire call came in at 7:28 pm, with firemen on the scene for 1.5 hours.
Kell, Centralia City, Odin, Sandoval, and Irvington all provided mutual aid assistance.
