A 20-year-old Salem man injured in a July 3rd motorcycle crash in Centralia has died from his injuries at a St. Louis Hospital.
Gabriel Burket was traveling westbound on Gregg Street when he lost control for an unknown reason and ran off the road. There were no skid marks.
Burket was originally taken to SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon and then airlifted to St. Louis. His obituary indicates he died later in the day of the crash.
Burket was a painter at Weld Fab Machine. He also had a passion for music, cars, motorcycles and video games.
Visitation for Gabriel Burket will be held from ten to noon on Monday at the Sutherland Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. in his memory, his family asks for donations be made to Carolyn Pribble. They will be received at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at sutherlandfuneralhome.com.
