Several Centralia organizations came together on Saturday afternoon for a Fourth of July celebration in Carillon Park. The opening ceremony included presentation of a 20 by 30 foot American flag and veterans’ color guard tribute by the Centralia American Legion and VFW. The Centralia Youth Center sold food for a fundraiser, and free children’s activities were provided by Carrie Leigh’s Art for Kids. At 4:00, Adam Lenhart gave a patriotic performance on the carillon.
